Специалната UV машина, която „България Еър“ започна да използва като допълнение към процедурите си за дезинфекция преди полет, беше включена в класацията на световно утвърденото списание TIME за най-добрите изобретения през 2020-та година.
Ежегодно класацията отличава в различни категории 100-те продукта, софтуери и услуги, които решават непреодолими и навременни проблеми по иновативни начини. Проектите се номинират и избират от редакторите и кореспондентите на списанието по целия свят.
Машината Honeywell UV Cabin System II, още позната като Dimer GermFalcon, беше отличена в категорията „Транспорт“. От списанието посочват, че тя се е доказала като успешна в унищожаването на още два вируса от семействотвото на коронавируса – MERS и SARS.

Пътниците, които имат резервация за полет, изпълняван от „България Еър“, могат да направят една безплатна промяна на датата или дестинацията на пътуване. За целта трябва да информират за решението си издателя на билета до 24 ч. преди излитането на полета, а билетът трябва да бъде преиздаден в рамките на валидността му (една година от издаването), и да се използва за пътуване до края на 2021г.
